HR polcies would vary from one organization to another. Would you please explain what kind of policy you are working with. It would be very difficult to set up a whole HR policy instantly. Please let me know your industry and buisness and what are the major issues you are facing for which you need the HR policies, from this you can derive your preferenaces.

Hi, Hema,
HR policies are varie from company to company in some aspects... but not in all. Therefore please let us know the strengh of your organisation and following details , i think we can suggest the best by looking at that.
a) No of employees
b) Skilled + Non skilled
c) Nature of the organisation
d) Whether it includes Recruitement ( Few companies outsource this) + Training +
Personal Department functions such as , Leave calculations , Salary calculations (
PF + ESI), whether you have gratuity or any other retirement schemes.
e) Entry system and exit system... i mean Opening and closing hours of the office.. whether is there any strict compliance will be there if Employees do not turn by timings.
If you let us know all this, sure we can help you in designing the simple HR Policy.

Hi Friend,
I'm a new member, can you pls sugget me regarding one little prob. - i am working wth a construction company in a Hr dept.
We have implemented a policy regarding in-out timings. Our office timings start from 9.30 in morning & grace time of 10 min. extra i.e. we mark late-mark from 9.40 am onwards. But few employees consistent with practice of late arriving, these employees arrive by 10 am onwards. I have asked them if they have any genuine problem then take permission for arriving late at office up to particular time.
They are not co-operating me, I’m newly joined here may be that’s why they are doing so.
Can you pls suggest me regarding the matter?
