I was working in a very small company. They didn't provide me with an Experience letter, Salary slip, or relieving letter. But now an MNC company wants these documents. Can I submit my PF Statement as proof of my employment? They deduct my PF. I also have a joining letter and an Appointment letter.

One option is to go to the company and ask for the experience letter and relieving letter. The other option is to explain to the new company that they didn't provide it to you and show them the PF statement as proof. They will inform you about any additional information/documentation they may require.

Hello,

You can share your offer/appointment letter as proof of joining document, and the resignation email sent by you to the employer can be considered as a relieving letter. The PF statement can be the last option because what if the employer has not paid for the month when you were serving the notice period.

Also, if the mode of receiving the salary was bank transfer, a bank statement can be given to the prospective employer, and Form 16 can also be used to support your employment.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Please submit the joining and appointment letter, which will contain your designation and salary. While the PF statement can be shown as proof, it will not reflect your total salary. Also, request a relieving order or experience certificate mentioning your designation and salary.

Wishing you all the best!
