My query is that I have been working with a private limited company for 6 months. I had a dispute with my management in a written email regarding salary. After which the director put allegations on me of non-performance, creating losses, and so forth. In response, with proof, I defended myself and proved the allegations baseless and fake. The director also resorted to mentally harassing me by decreasing my salary from the next month (within 23 days), which is nowhere in the company's policy. After proving my innocence and demonstrating that I am being mentally harassed and falsely accused, they have now sent me an email to discontinue my services with immediate effect. They have offered to pay me salary until the last working date and also 1 month's basic salary.
Now, I would like to ask what can be done in this matter. Can they pay me only the basic salary, or will they have to pay me the gross salary? (As their policy states basic salary in lieu of termination) This is not termination but discontinuation of my job without any valid reason. Additionally, no meetings were arranged with HR even after my request and no actions were taken against one of the directors despite discrimination, misuse of power, and violations of HR policy.
Please guide me on the same.

What has happened has happened. As you have mentioned, you had a fallout with the boss. Why do you wish to continue with the same employer when he is willing to pay you notice pay and let you go? They may not pay you the full amount as the deliverables may also vary.
