Dear Team, Greetings of the day.
I have joined a new company and have spent nearly 1 year for now. Including my manager our entire HR team of 5 members are new to the organization.
Management is looking out for new policy implementation from the HR side. What new policies can be brought into force.
Kindly suggest any new policies for the lubrication industry.
Regards,
Thomas

Dear Thomas Suresh,
HR policies are essential for maintaining order, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive work environment within an organisation. They provide a framework for managing employees effectively and help achieve the company's goals.
However, HR companies are derived from the top leadership's vision and the organisation's culture. By imitating the policies of others, the organisation and people development cannot take place.
I wish you had mentioned the nature of your industry, your company's finished product, the number of employees working, and above all the policies that you have already. It would have helped us propose something new.
Your company must have been registered either under the Factories Act or the Shops and Establishment Act. Your foremost requirement is to check whether you follow the provisions of either act as applicable. Additionally, you need to follow provisions of the acts related to provident fund, gratuity, ESI, workers' compensation, etc. as applicable.
From the HR Management standpoint, you need to have policies on employee recruitment, employee promotion, performance appraisal, employee welfare, dress code, etc.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
