I Am working as HR Executive in facility management company. recently i was faced problem for esi applicability. in my company women was married and have one son but devours.in that situation this employee have mother got major health problem she applicable for ESI..
Please clarify...

she is Eligible for Esi if she has covered under esi only .. means ( while u got number of esi her name included then u will get treatment )
if not u have to include .. and go it .. if possible do it ..

Dear If your company has deducting ESI & PF so she is eligible to pay for the ESI. She & she’s dependent member will also me eligible for the same.
