Iam pursuing my 2nd yr MBA at NIT. Currently, we have few companies visiting our campus for placements. The list includes PSUs and leading corporate companies. Could you please suggest me the right place to learn more & for prospective future growth for any beginner like me?
Also, please let me know, if at all I get into a PSU which is offering more pkg would that experience be of any special value to get into any MNC after 2-3 yrs?

As per my point of view, its that where you want to land up on. PSU or Corporates ? its not the question of salary/beginner.
since you mentioned about college placements, just give a try to both PSU and Corporates. Here there are two things.
1. Corporates - good growth, career but at times job may be of insecure or rather than insecurity it could be unsatisfactory at times.
2. PSU - good benefits,especially medical and others, but growth could be lateral , But Secured job. Career wise it depends.
above all its your State of Mind which gives you a better decision.By the way you didn't mention which stream in MBA you are in.
