I have query regarding Labour welfare fund , that what is the excat amt to be paid to Maharashtra Govt is it Rs. 12/- or there are slabs like PT in it?

Mode of deduction in Maharashtra is half yearly i.e. June & Dec are deduction months. Contribution for the employee is Rs.12 for six months & Rs. 36/- per six months for employer. That is total Rs. 48/-.Contribution is to be deposited half yearly by 10 th July & 10 th Jan respectively for the period ending June & Dec.
