Couple of points to be kept in mind while preparing the PPT for Induction.
a.) History of Company / Company Background
b.) Organization Culture, Vision and Mission of Organization
c.) Organizational Structure
d.) Heirarchy of each Department
e.) Name of HODs.
f.) Company Policy - Rules and Regulation (Need not be in PPT but a handout need to be given to new joinees.
g.) IT and Security policy
h.) Attendance and Leaves policy
i.) Dress Code
j.) Cultural events celebrated in organization ( Annual Function, sports etc.)
k.) Contact Person for any query (eg. Contact person for PF transfer or Salary Problem).
Induction session is very boring at times. Try to organize a Game session which can bring some fun in induction. Use of some motivational videos in PPT can make the induction more intersting.
The most important thing - Keep it simple.
