Hello,
Exit interviews will not always help because nobody will tell the true facts. HR will have to interact the people regularly to know the problems.
If payment is the issue then you should be the best payer in your line or should select average calliber employes. To run an organisation smoothly only few masters are required not all. Or else be the best payers.

Hi Sachin,
A structured exit interview conducted professionaly can provide some insights into the problem. It will be good if you could initiate purposeful conversation with the department incharge and employees in the team. If differences in salary is the issue conduct a market survey of the wages prevalent.

Hi All,
I would like to cite an example of Poching- It's a case of Hewitt Associates organisation where in Aug 2008 several Business Analyst left the company just in overnight. More than 100 analyst left company within a week and all were joined ACS where they got good package.
ACS started it's new business that's why they were ready to pay good as they want experienced people for their work. This is called poching.
I'll suggest you should try to know which particular organisation are employees joining and try to have "No Poching legal agreement "with them.
Only this can help you else it's very difficult for you to control no doubt money matters alot for everyone now a days whether it's for workforce or for Management.
Thanks & Regards,

I think money is not every thing for all the employees, there may be some other reasons also. Regards Vishal

Dear Earlystar,
As a HR persons you have to find out actual cause through your personal network . If you are new one in this company , and till date you are unable to creat your personal network than please arrange a training program outside & select a good trainner who are capable to find out the right reason from them.
