Dear Friends,
Greeting for the day.......!!!!
I worked with a multinational company 6 years,
due to certain family unexpected condition i couldn't report to work after 15 days of leaves, For that reason my Manager had marked me Absconding, After a year i asked them to provide me the relieving letter for which they say we cannot provide as i was absconding & did not serve the notice period
Now even after paying the full & final settlement amount dues (41000) they are not providing me the relieving letter & stating that as this is the company policy for absconded employee
they have provide me a AWOL Letter Stating i was terminated & was absconding ( How can i present that letter in any organisation for job) & even not providing me the copy of company policy
Is there any Law for this so that i can challenge them / Do let me know what can be done for getting me the letter

They should issue you a service certificate. But the reasons for separation will be mentioned by them. pon

Termination Letter itself is a relieving from the service, yes you can claim the Experience Certificate

There is no labour law regarding relieving letter .It all depends on company’s policy. Varghese Mathew

Consult Labor Condition Attorney and they work it for you in a good will manner.
No company aims to spoil others careers unless you behave the other way, u did not turn to them for a year is your mistake.
1. did you get warning letter to your residence/email ? (email warning is not considered by law),
if no warning letter issued then still all MNC policy says uninformed absence for more than 15days is called absconding, still experinec letter carries as relieved on employee own will due to absence and nothing harmful words because that will cost them alot per ethics and labor law conditions.
