Dear Kavita,
When I was working for someone else, I always wanted my ID cards to have the following information
Front Side of an ID card
1.NAME OF THE EMPLOYEE
2.EMP CODE
3.DESIGNATION
4.TEAM NAME/DEPT NAME
Back Side of an ID card
1.Contact Address of the emp (In case of emergency)
2.Contact number of the emp / emergency contact no of the emp
3.BLOOD GROUP
4. Scanned signature of the emp(This can be kept on either sides)
Hope this information would help you in someways.
FYI, Now I have all these info in my company staffs ID :)
Thanks & regards,

Hi
This is Padma. I suggest you should not keep designation cause every six or twelve months designation may changes or any promotion then again employee have to tell his designation separately and even in some companies department also changes according to the requirements, please look at these situations and decide. Please correct me if am wrong.
I suggest the following:
1.Name
2.Id number
3.Blood group are necessary and the extra info depends on your terms&conditions
Thank you

Hi Padma You are right.I was confused to write designation on employee cards. Someone has suggested me that i dont need to write designations on card. Thanks a lot.

Hi Kavitha,
Please note another point of mine that is you should keep The employee name and employee Id number & blood group on front side of Id-card and if you want more information you may put behind the card.
It can be useful and the permanent un-changeable information should be visible in front side of the card.
Thank you so much for response.
