dear all hr people

i would like to introduce myself as an hr executive in a construction company in orissa having 1.5 years of experiences.but after this for greater learning, exposure and better salary package i relocated mumbai from orissa.
but here my problem is that i am not getting a suitable job in any company.i have already faced 8 to 10 numbers of interviews by different company but the last result is not shortlisted.
As per my experiences in those interviews i think my problems for not shortlisted by the companies are insufficient communication skills, work knowledge ,new relocation without a job in hand and may be body(physical as well as mental)maturity.

please make my clarify wheather these may be reasons for disqualification for a candidate.

again here i would like to inform it to my members that my area of work experiences and knowledge are:-recruitement,selection,pf.esi.mediclaim,induction for new joinee, joining letter preparation for new joinee, personal file record, laeve administration, establishment renewal and paying of professional tax for the employees.

i have no any idea about PMS,T&D,.

the general questions asked by the hr persons are like-tell me something about your self, why you are looking for a change, what is your salary expection, what are your work experiences, why you choosed hr as your career in or after mba,why you relocated to mumbai only, about my familybackground, bla bla bla......

So i request to all my cite hr members that please help me in regards of getting the right answers for these questions and also inform me besides the above mentioned work experiences what other fields or work knowledge i have to make strong,(like i dont know the procedure of PMS or T&D).So please in form me also in this situation what i will do for getting s hr job.really i have lost my confidence and become frostrated.

please help me............

Sometimes it happens, may you say it that luck is not favouring you right now but does it mean that you disqualify the interviews, in my views, never. What you are already discharging your duties as a HR guy, the same are being done by the people of your field. But since the time is that of the high competition and the interviewers have to select the best one of their choice, that is why it may happen with anyone. So, don't get dishearten, remember God and strive your best in updating your knowledge/skill in the relevant areas in which you are lacking, definitely you will receive an appointment very shortly which you might never expect.
So, remember three things in your life:-
1. Don't forget God at any cost - Know God, know peace and no God, no peace
2. Don't get dishearten at any cost
3. Don't forget to put in your best efforts

Hi,
When i relocated to bangalore from Chennai, i faced the same kind of situation.Getting a HR generalist role is quite difficult compared to other specialist role like recrutiment .
The main thing to get through the interview is to improve our communication and keep uptodate of all HR trends. and also even if you are not involved in T&D and other activities learn about it and make a picture in the interview that you can handle all work.
Salary Package may also be other factor in gettin getting Job. since you have 1.5 years of experience i dont know about the Mumbai market of pay. Check with the pay of other HR people and then give your exp pay.
All the best ..Dont worry you will surely get a best Job.
