Hello Seniors,
My brother is in the verge of completion of First Year MBA and wants all of your guidance in Course Selection. His UG is Bsc(Hotel Management) and Presently the specialisations avaliable are Marketing, HR, Finance & Systems. He would like to do dual specilsation with one Specilisation as HR.
He wants to work for a software company In HR Dept and he is also good in finance .So he is confused between HR & Systems / HR & Finance. What is the advantage of Systems over finance or viceversa when you apply for a job? what are the kind of opportunities avaliable for both. Can you please guide him in this aspect?
Your reply will guide a Student to shape his career. Kindly reply..Waiting to hear from friends & Seniors....

Hi
I would suggest HR&Finance for the simple reason that you would be working closely with the Finance dept if you are a HR professional and it helps to be aware of things like IT and Payroll as much as possible. I've worked for software companys in the HR dept and the above is strictly IMHO...
