hi all
i m a regular viewer of this forum, i appriciate solutions which provided by diff ppl.
I have an Idea to make this forum not only a solution provider but also a discussion point.
Many HR always say HR is a Thankless JOb.... I dont Know why?
I M Currently working as an HR Manager In a IT Co. I Think HR ppl are a bridge between management and employees. I agree its a sensitive job and sometimes we need to be little/very much harsh but if handeled properly with combination of softness with intellegency we can be dearest ppl in an organization..
this is my view what do u say....
common ppl i have taken initiative hope u like it.......

Hi,
In my pursuit of a good career, good defined as something that I love to do and rewards equivalently well enough, I have come across two plain feelings- Passion and demotivation. Passion for the field of Human Resource Management & Development; demotivation, time and again, with statements from HR professionals saying, "Its a Thankless job", "It doesn't pay you well enough" etc etc.
Now that is a big demotivator for someone like me, who's just finished college (well, almost, results awaited), and is searching for her first crucial job, first job's are very crucial, personally and professionally. In the past one year, for the mere reason that I felt 'demotivated' from the responses, I have changed my mind a hundred times, just as one changes his/her mind when he/she is faced with many choices.
I eventually got back to searching a job in the field of HR only. Know why? Because it came out of my heart and yes, I am a person who does not want to be stuck with a job that she doesnt feel like doing, that doesn't come out of her heart. And from the various posts I have read, most HR professionals are in their jobs because they love doing it. Its quite simple to decode the passion and love for their jobs even if it is in reading a few typed words.
After hard thinking, yes, that is sometimes enough to keep working on a 'thankless - as some choose to call it- job'.
Regards,
Vinisha.
