Dear Sutapa,
As you have done your MCom - SAP FICO / ORACLE Financials etc.... could help you to grow into the role of a Functional Consultant.
As a FUNCTIONAL Consultant (ERP), it is not at all mandatory to have any technical knowledge/qualifications, as your job/role will be entirely related to your expertise and knowledge, on the Functional side.
So, if you have any desire to cross over to IT space, while staying in your own domain, SAP/ORACLE etc... could help you .........

Hi Sutapa,
to be frank just going through an SAP course thinking that it will helpful in exploring good job opportunities is totally wrong. It can only helpful if
1-you have a sound corporate experience in your domain area.
2-Atleast 2-3 years of Domain experience.
3-should have Real experienc of a life cycle in SAP as most of the questions are based on this part in the interview.
4-finally most of the companies providing this kind of trainning programms are fake in the market.they promise to give dume projects and all at the time of enrollment but ultimately you are left only cheated.
So be careful.............
Best of luck.
