Hello, We are looking to transfer few of our employees from our India office (Gurgaon) to visit our Czech Office (Prague) for minimum 1 Year.

We want to transfer them via ICT card and want the payroll to continue from India and taxes and social security to be covered in India. At the same time, we do not want double taxation for our employees and only want the taxes to be deducted in India.

Can someone please guide the legal compliances that we will need to follow for the same, Are there any letters, agreements to sign in this case?

Thank you

Hi,

You may consider this as deputation rather than transfer.

While salary can be processed at India and credited to Indian salary account Allowances for deputation can be paid through forex card which can be used for food /travel expenses. Hope Accommodation part Company will take care.

Also Company to provide overseas travel insurance for those deputed employees.

Is deputation valid even for Long - term engagement eg. 1 year - 3 years? Are there specific requirements for deputation from India to Czech Republic? Thank you.
