Hi - I have a new joiner who started on 12 Sept 2022. We provided 15 days of earned leaves per year (i.e. 1.25 per year at the end of each month). How's the pro-rata calculation works for the new joiner? Thank you.

Please consider total working months in 2022 is 4 - Sept, OCT, NOV & DEC. Therefore 1.25 x 4 = 5 days leave earned in 2022. Now from 2023 the employee will earn 15 days EL. In this case I will suggest to consider Sept,2022 as full month.
