Hi Partner,

One way is to via e-mails and random calls to check with employees how they feel in terms of security and mental health. Emergency contact details can be sent to them on a frequent basis assuring company support always.

At a later stage, a series of questionnaires can be sent to employees via e-mail on the challenges they face at work and in handling their personal lives at home, because home is now office space as well.

At my company we have been interacting with employees on how they feel working from home and the main issue that had been highlighted to us was the poor internet connectivity causing them to work extra hours to finish the same piece of work, which used to take less time at office. Our technical team did a bit of reasearch and have advised the best service providers in each area, with whom the company has tie ups and reimbursements on upgradation to certain packages of higher bandwidth have been offered. For employees in areas where no good service provider could be identified, their supervisors have been asked to check on planing for flexibility in their productivity targets.
