I need your advice .My brother completed HR & Marketing in MBA.So he got offer in mahindra show room As a HR.
Job role is:sending mails to customer,sales information maintenance and contacting higher level persons through mail.
Will this experience will count if he switches job after some years, as he will be employee of that show room.
please advice.

From the brief job role given, it is unlikely to benefit much. If he is given opportunity to handle proper HR role like recruitment of sales staff, on -boarding, performance appraisal, compensation administration, compliance, employee engagement programmes etc related to show room staff, then it will add value.

Just because your brother has completed MBA in HR and Marketing does not mean that he should strictly be in either HR or Marketing. He can build his career further based on the current job profile. Over a period of time he can be Operations Manager in the Retail Industry.
Real application of the concepts of HR or Marketing can happen in operations than HR. Many HRs, with their MBA in HR end up in doing job of personnel manager. What is the use of it? Many other end up in doing clerical jobs!
Your brother needs to be clear about what could be his next promotion and when can it be. For this, he may prepare his career plan. For this, if he improves Quantitative Techniques learnt during the MBA course, the better. Organised retail is growing leaps and bounds. Very shortly "Big Daddy" Walmart will enter into the Indian market. This will create huge job opportunities in the retail field. Your brother can very well encash on that.
