The minimum wages are revised every six months and every employer is required to follow it. Most of the well known company give Salary to their employers which is higher than the Minimum Wages wherein they dont require to increase every six months.

Position: It is Mandator for all Employers, covered by the Provisions of Minimum Wages Act, to pay/disburse the applicable / Notified by the respective Govt. Notification/Gazette to Employed Persons on their Muster Roll /Engaged thru Contractors.

There is No Exemption / Immunity to any Employer, whatsoever, from paying/disbursing the Minimum Wages notified and any faiilure to do so amounts to "an Offence" and is punishable by the Laws.

All Employers ought to proceed to pay the Min Wages prescribed and prevent Penalties and other repercussions.

Team Kritarth is willing and ready to assist with further clarifications/Help in case so required.

Dear
Under law an employer is under obligation to pay prescribed Minimum Wages. Whenever it is revised( every Six months), the increase has to be passed on accordingly to the employee. It is an offence under S.22 of the Minimum Wages Act.
thanks
