hello seniors,
my query is about the maternity leave for the employees after the latest bill which has passed in loksabha last week for 26 weeks paid leave.
we are a small company of 13 employees, and we are turning 2years in april 2017.
my director has asked me to frame proper and accurate maternity leave policies which will not be questionable by the employees in future.
please help me with your valuable inputs.

You better add the maternity benefits along with the leave policy if you have. If not prepared the leave policy & add the same.
As it is Govt rule & if need to follow as per the Maternity benefit act then no need of any policy.
Any how its better to wait till the Gazette notification is released
