Hello Zohra,
Greetings of the day..!
If you take a leave on Friday than only one day leave will counted. Kindly refer your leave policy and is their any sandwich system in your company?
In sandwich system, If you take a leave on Friday and Monday than total 4 days leave will be counted (Including any kind of holiday).

Hello Zohra,
If you remain present in one of the days i.e. either on Friday or on Monday, your Saturday - Sunday should not be counted as holidays. But if you remain absent from Friday to Monday, then yes it will be counted as 4 holidays.
Do check with your company what the policy is.
Although sandwich system prevails in most of the organizations, certainly some of the companies have taken out this rule especially when employees have to take leave out of sickness.
