Hi To All!
Would like to know from all the HR Experts if it is compulsory to give a performance appriasal /ex-gratia to an employee who resigns from the job
The process had got delayed the appriasal were due in june but were completed in Aug the arrears have been paid to all the other employees but one employee resigned in August and we decided not to give her any increment of ex-gratia.
Would like to know are there any legal implication if we dont pay.

Dear Mousmi,
Performance appraisal is an internal activity of any organisation to review employees performance level, competencies and related activities, there is no legal boundations from government department at all.
So do not worry any more.
