I had worked with a captive unit for 40 days(probation period)and left the job without intimation. Now I am getting this company postal mails on my address stating that rs 50,000 is recoverable from me as full and final settlement and if I fail to submit the amount company will take legal steps against me. I am very confused and tensed as what should be done. Please Advice.

Dear Romana,
First of all dont be panic...
Recovery can be done in two case, 1st is may be you full & Final settlement amount is coming as payable, its comes as recoverable &
2nd is there may be bond or any condition signed by you during your employment may be through your appointment letter that, if you leave the company by authorisedly, then you need to pay the certain amoun to comapany as compensation.
So, first, lets take details of your Full & Final settlement OR as for brifurcation of said amount & ask that, how come this amount is occure..?
If any of above is correct & company followd all rules, then you have to pay the same.
