Thanks for your valuable input.
See I am an MBA in HR and I have done my MBA through Distance Learning(Correspondence).
What MBA regular guys are taught , we know just 20% of that because we simply read the books and give exams.
So MBA correspondence guys have no practical exposure.
This is the reason why i become speechless in front of the Interviewers when they ask the above stated questions.
You are senior hence i request you to please guide me in this regard.
I want to know ... what could be the possible answers to the above mentioned questions
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Rahul,

As you said you have done MBA HR through correspondence,so you have less exposure, but I certainly don't agree. You choosed HR either direct or correspondence would have with some definite reason, may be for a value addition to your career or for sake of promotion or may be you wanted to pursue further career in Human resource as this function in any industry carries a larger scope with anything relate to human..and any industry with out this human resource is not completed.

As Mr.Bindra said its on your perception how you define your interest.I am presently an HR Manager and I had absolute reason why I choosed HR as my career.Since I wanted to work for people (Their development, motivation,Training etc..)as they are consider to the pillar/back bone for any successful organisation..

Being HR we can formulate people strategies in align with Organisational strategies. We can roll out and implement any new policies, procedure to boost employee morale. Moreover can understand the emotional factor which is relates to any staff in their good or bad performance, as upcoming HR are mostly expected to know EQ (Emotional Quotient) in mapping competencies across organisation ..

Hope these may answer your 1st 3 questions.

Answer for your last question from corporate point of view would be..

Any one who uses brain rather than physic to complete a given task is generally considered as a smart worker.Hard workers are those who are more into

doing delegated task..

For instant Senior Manager and leaders level who actually delegate, control and monitor the work to their team are considered to be smart workers.where as staff who execute the delegated plan may be considered as hard worker.

I may not correct, but have tried to give some inputs to this thread based on my experience.
