HI AVS,

REALLY A GOOD ONE! I am reminded of T.S.Eliot's famous saying, "It is better to do evil deeds than keep quiet or be passive"

Man has a life and he must prove it. He can prove it by destruction but society will not march forward. If anyone wants to be remembered even after their death, then they must do something which will raise the standards of the community, society, country, etc. Such people will be remembered forever. For example I am not able to remember my great grandfather's name but I do remember the name of Shankara, Ramanuja, Buddha, Ashoka, the King of Kalinga war,Vivekananda, Sir Isac NEWTON, Albert Eisenstein, Abraham Lincoln, Yuri Gagarin, Max Muller, Mahatma Gandhi, etc Why do we remember them, but not our great grandfather/mother? It is because they lived for the society, not for themselves. In doing so they toiled and kept themselves busy.

Activity is the sign of life! If one keeps himself quiet without doing any work such a person will rust soon. He will not be remembered even by his contemporary friends!!

That is why Lord Krishna says in Gita that he wants to show it to the world that he is also busy and not lazy!!That is why he becomes a "Sarathy" to Arjuna and proves that he is also busy and lazy. What a powerful message to the world!!
