Hi Friends can anybody help me, I am Niketh working as HR Executive in a private concern. We are shifting our factory to a new premises where that area is not covered under ESIC, but we are paying ESIC for employees because the present area is covered under ESIC.
So what can i do instead of ESIC, so what is the benefit for employees and what is the procedure to avail ESIC facility for uncovered area.

You pay the esic contribution for your current covered location only
you could maintain separate wage and salary data for the other unit and can stop the compliance in respect of th eemployees who are working in non implemented area
to cover the risk however, you may go for a workmens compensation act, 1923 from any general insurance company of your choice
pls trust the above advice to be in order
thanks and regards

Dear Niketh,
1) pay the contirbution for the current month and apply for workmen compensation policy as soon as possible,
2) submit intimation letter to the area manager (ESIC) about shifting your office premises.
3) in the time of returns mention only how many months u have remitted and rest leave blank and while submitting attach one copy with the RC
4) in case the branch office is shifting no need of WC
5) in case of HO the above points will apply
I think these points will help u

Dear Hariharan
where ESIC is not covered we can take W C policy which the Insurance company provides for the employees in our organisation, we have to pay the premium as per the insurance company's fee structure and if any accident or death takes place we can claim insurance on the injured employee, for more details u can contact insurance companies they will suguest u.
