Dear All,
Like every year the income tax department has issued circular for employes on the TDS on salary payments for current year 2006-07 (assessment year 2007-08)
This has main payments, the exemption and the relevent rules for perquisite valuation to be considered by the person, who disbuses salary and he is the person responsible for TDS compliance.
I am putting the file here in PDF format. you can also download the same from the site of IT department www.incometaxindia.gov.in.
