Can you enlighten me the exact difference between Skill matrix and Competency Matrix? Are they one and the same? If possible clarify my doubt with examples of format for each.

Both are different.
Skill is something which we can see the result.
However, the competency is the one which is lying inside us. It talks about our skills, knowledge, motives, attitudes etc.
This means which we cannot see. This will act like a muscular power to the body. Just image how the relation between a brain and the muscular power acts in our body. Brain is like a skill and our muscular power is to execute the things by taking the instructions from the brain. Hence competency is an additional power in order to get a superior performance. Skill is a learned ability over a span of time. Both are having very close interrelationship.
