I want to suggest any employee join 2 month before & after two month giving the resign.but employee not give time any day notice period next day leave .so can you suggest company take the one month salary her employee.becoz employee right now provision period .so employee will give the salary one month your company .

Dear all,
I'm new in this forum and I have just been assigned to come out with a Competency Skill Matrix for a Restaurant (hierarchy being Sr. Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager, Service Manager, Asst. Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Captain, Sr. Waiter/Sr. Waitress and Waiter/Waitress). Are there anyone senior here who has the matrix as although I have heard of the matrix but have never really seen or understand it?
Our restaurant chain have been operating for more than 20 years already and we don't even have this...so the management wants me to come out with one and I don't even have a clue. The staff in the restaurant just do whatever being told and as long as no one complaint, its a blessing already.
I hope the expert here or the seniors whose company has a copy of the Competency Matrix can share with me. I may not be taking everything directly but at least I have really seen one and know what is it. I have until this Wednesday to come out with the first draft copy... :-(
