hi all,
Am abhijit, working with ICC/domestic CALL CENTRE, as Admin manager, would like to know if any employee keeps communication records and present it in the court as a proof are they valid? for example report indicating that the concern has received it and have received it and opened the same for any communication on intra net, is it valid proof in the court?

Yes Abhijit. After the enactment of Cyber Law, all e documents are recognised in evidence as good as any other document. Indian Evidence Act was also amended in line with it. But it is a convention that the Courts insist on corroborating the document.

Hello,
Yes they can be taken into account as proof, provided the same has not been acquired by illegal means, or if the same cannot be availed through a legal manner
More details you can gather from Evidence Act
Thank You
