Dear Sethupathyji,
My husband served for 2 & half years for the Bangalore based company he has resigned from the company in April 2007. He is chasing for the PF withdrawal till today. Please suggest what should we do to withdraw this money. We have submitted PF Withdrawal forms duly signed thrice.

Dear Asnaik,
Your husband can apply in form 19 and 10 c after getting signature from a gazetted Officer or his Bank Manager and send the forms to concerned PF Office, in tern they can collect the required details from his ex-employer.
All he has to do is, fill up the known columns like his personal details,Date of Joining, Date of reliving, PF No. etc., and leave the unknown columns.
I am enclosing the above referred forms with filling up details.
All the best

Dear Kannan,
You can try with four zeros in that column.
It is an APPROXIMATE PENSION OR WITHDRAWAL AMOUNT.
Here the PF authorities have taken 3/Year instead of 4/Year in the cases of reduced pension.

Dear Vijaya
If you have not withdrawn your PF or EPS from your earlier employer, please contact your current employer (HR department) and fill up Form 13. Through this, your earlier PF gets transferred to the current PF account and you will not lose any amount.

Dear Asnaik
You can do as suggested by Mr Sethupathy and submit form 19 and 10 C once again. However, I suggest you to try one more thing before that.
If you have a copy of either Form 19 & 10-C submitted or if you have the acknowledgement from RPFC for having submitted the application earlier, please book a complaint in the grievance at EPFO website. It will work. I have my own brother's case who was working in bangalore but his PF/EPS was getting deposited in their HO at Bhopal, MP. When I suggested him to book this case in the EPFO website, what did not happen for 2 years, happened within 2 months. It is a powerful tool. Please try !

Dear Ramachandra
One thing that was not clear is i worked in some Health Care ltd. where i worked for only 5 months. There i asked accountant that will i get the Pf of 5 months he said, no.
He said one should work atleast 6 months then only get the PF.
In this case what should i do.

Dear Vijaya
I am again reconfirming that you can get your PF for 5 months also. Only EPS you will not get. The person who has told you seem to be not completely aware of this. Please submit form 19 if you want to withdraw or simply fill in form 13 to transfer both PF and EPS with the current employer.

Dear Mr. Ramachandra,
I have applied for PF withdrawal earlier to claim the amount. Now, if I continue my service in India for 8 or more years to make a total of 10 years service, only then I will be eligible to apply for pension. Am I Right?
Thank you to both Mr. Sethupathy and Mr. Ramachandra for responding with detailed explanation.

Dear Mr Kamaraj

You have indicated in your earlier post that you have withdrawn PF for 10 months & 13 months that you have worked. Since you had not completed 10 years here and also as your service was more than 6 months, probably, you must have also received EPS amount along with PF amount. Because at the time of submitting PF claim form, I presume that you would have also submitted 10-C to claim EPS. I do not know, if you are aware of this. So please check with your previous employers if the amount received by you includes EPS also and whether they got 10-C also signed from you. If it is so, then only the current experience of 8 years would be taken as pensionable service and earlier experience will not be counted.

The earlier experience would be counted only if you have submitted form-13 with the current employer and has sought transfer of EPS (though you have withdrawn PF from earlier companies) to the current account. So you have to first clarify whether you have opted for EPS withdrawal also or only PF and whether you have submitted form-13 with the current employer if you have not withdrawn your EPS earlier and has sought transfer.

Also, you will be eligible for pension only on completion of 10 years pensionable service and that too only after ataining the age of 50 and leaving the job.

Hope the matter is clear

Regards

K.Ramachandra
