As per my personal experience the major challenges are unprofessionalism, favoritism, groupism and politics from management and employees.
HR has a bigger role to play in mitigating the challenges by creating appropriate capabilities across the industry/sector. Without challenges there is no beauty and future in profession.
So do not afraid to face difficulties.
