If you work on holiday, you must be paid overtime wages @ twice of your gross. Comp off is referred to in shops act only for working on 'compulsory holiday' viz. 26th Jan,1st May, 15th August & 2nd October. Also max working hours as per the Shops Act are 48 per week. You may complain to Government Labour Officer or Shops Inspector of your area in writing. But this MAY affect your career as your present employer may inform about this once he comes to know your new employer.
