I would like to suggest you that if that female employee is come to know that she is pregnant and continue her job without any problem then she can.. You have to see also which kind of work she is handling, as per maternity benefits act 1961, No woman shall be entitled to maternity benefit unless she has actually worked in an establishment of the employer from whom she claims maternity benefit, for a period of not less than 1*[eighty days] in the twelve months immediately preceding the date of her expected delivery:
So you have to see that whether she want to continue the job in long term after the delivery and she can do the work to fulfill the conditions of maternity benefits act 1961.
