Even I too have a similar opinion, but still if there is some statute that will help as a support. I am working with an electricity company in Orissa where the nature of business is public utility, so please suggest what will be supporting agreements.

i want to know/find out Acts & Rules relating to grant of weekly off day if a employees is absent or on leave 6day in a week than he is eligible to grant weekly off at 7th day .or in the both case we can deduct his salary of one day.

Dear All I have A query regarding weekly off. some Organisation don’t provide weekly off (Sunday)To their workers if they don’t work on Saturday & Monday.Is it Legal ?

every employee need to work 8 hours in a day and Every employees is eligible for week off after completion of 48 hours of works which is calculate (hours * days=48) 8*6=48 hrs...automatically 7th day his eligible for week off..every employee need to give a rest of his body..
