Hi Snehlata,
Dont submit a backdated resignation, but resign now.
You might be aware
While terminating the services of any employee either of the parties(Employer, employee) has to give notice of 2/3 months or payment in lieu of notice period) . So I'll suggest, not to submit a backdated resignation, but to go in detail through your appointment letter & with the relevent clasue, so fight for the payment in lieu of the notice period.
That will ensure a respectable exit

Sneha,

i have read all the comments in the thead and am back again with my opinion, i believe u shld leave the company with out any hesitation, dont create a mess now, I know its not your mistake but still keepin your career in mind you shld step down, I thnk this is not gonna hurt your ego, coz as per you know you are leaving a company which is not worth enough to work with and also you are leavin behind an RM who is not worth to be leader.

Dont take this to your heart coz as per my knowledge most of the employees in your organisation knows abt u and your nature and they also knows who the criminal is?
still if people talk at your back then we shld not care them.......go on wid your life.....

instead of thinkin lot on what has happened, if you could thnk on what can be done.....will help you alot....

"Hathi ko dek kar kuthey bokthey hai" keep this in mind, dont care what people say behind you.................................live a king size life........den u wl come to know ....what u can do......

try hard to get a better job...hope u wl get soon...my good wishes are wid you....:).......

Cheers,
Kiran

Dear Snehalata,

Hi, be Diplomate, see HR are the person who understand the business and work towards the objective with right talent and talent acquistion. So dont give any apologies letter or resignation letter. You know, u r at battle, be brave to face the victims. But show the right path to the managment, how to handle the right employee. When they are asking you to give the backdated letter ,so they not having guts. so use these... dont stay more than ur patience. inbetween, search for good job.
If anyone says its my experience, ie unsuccessful things only. so u r gaining ur experience. dont be frustrated.

Take a moral.
In a running race, the winner will be ugly because he wont see the hair style or dust n swet in his face. if he saw that, then he will go slow to maintain the hair style. then no one will notice him. But even though he seems to be a winner , he is not maintained his good look, so allof them put him on their head for his victory. so be a winner, dont think wat others will think. it is hard to accept... But wen u start to see ur winning infront of him. that taste will satisfy ur wound.. dont get mentaly upset.

All the best.... fight with generating energy....

hey sneha,

i think by this time u might have resigned n started searching for a new job. listen sneha there is nothing in this world which u can acheive...suppose for a while u fight with Mgt. n mgt asks u to stay back can u work with them? i mean the way u were working preiviously..no right becos u cannot adjust in the same way which u use to.......n my best suggestion is dont worry abt job i m sure u will find a new oppurtunity within few days jus have faith in urself & God n see..........

once, u leave the organistaion the Mgt should feel they have lost the most valuable resource which does not have any backup.........so put down ur paper n enjoy completely with out any tension spend some time with ur family...oncwe ur are out of this story i mean wat all hapnd with u in the previous organisation good bad, forget abt everything...............

then,

start a new day with lots of energy n enthu!!!!!!!!!!! n get a new oppurtunity......

Snehalata,
First of all, my support and best wishes for u in these tough times..what I suggest u is to resign, but not on back dated-put the current date
Also, on ur last day in office- during lunch break/free time when all r free, just gather everyone around u-specially ur HR dept and tell them what happened to u and why u r leaving-everyone must know about this kind of thing.
Also, directly walk into your Reporting manager's cabin and tell him in a polite way that just because of him,ur career and future is spoiled and he is resp..tell him that u r resigning as told by him but u had worked honestly and even he knows that the reasons-(that u r rude etc) are not true-so tell him to think twice before terminating someone next time.
You must say all this in a very confident and smart way-be bitter to him politely and then submit ur resig letter and say that u were unable to put a backdate as its difficult for u to lie..maintain ur dignity and personality and walk out in a win-win manner. No need to 'please' or 'sorry'..to this type of idiotic boss:x and environment.
Start searching for a new job-i know its dam diff but ur prestige is greater than other things.

Dear,

I had similar situation 5 months back, see if u r not going to put down ur papers probably they might sack u since ur RM is very good.

To fight back is good but its not the correct time, b'coz u need someone's very strong backing (but the Manager had a word with senior mgmt) so this not going to help u.

go and talk to the manager...and let him know that you are willing to resign and would like to get your notice period waived off.

Give a post dated resignation and pls ensure that u dont pay anything to the company in lieu of your resignation(get in writing your notice period being waived off) (but ensure that they dont take it in a negative way)

Then submit your resignation (get your relieving letter(check for the designation, and years of service(they might mess up) and experience certificate) and try to close your PF with the current employers signature. take the form-13(not sure)

Send a friendly mail to everyone you are friendly in the company. (pls dont try to let everyone know the reason of you leaving) (if in case they come to know, dont worry... God knows about you and You know about it) Thats more than enough...
You cannot be good to everyone.....(Though you are good to all...none will acknowledge it) ok... so dont give weightage to all... let ur hi and byes continue...

Truly the market is down... u need to toil for another 3 to 4 months to get into a good job... try... there will be a way...its certain....

Dont ever disclose the reason of your leaving in any interviews... most of us do not accept these... if it happens to someone.... so... try to prepare a good profile and meet companies and try ur best.... dont lose heart.... u will be good after some time.... tough times always comes in.... everyone has some issues... dont worry.

All the very best in Life...

Remember this is not the end(.) dont worry by looking at the market...

Take this as a lesson and be good when you become a RM.
Forgive and Forget......

These are my suggestions... hope everything goes on well.

all the best... think and take a decision...

Regards,
Priya

Thanks Subramani,Shweta,Gagan, Badlooser, Girish, Kiran, Abhilasha, Vishakaguru,Ravidev, Roma, Priyaranganathan for your precious time and advise.

I am a lady who has worked with respect and passion.
I have many a times taken personal attack on my self-respect by HeadHR without complaining.
I cannot just tolerate now the reason to leave the company :-
baseless reason of performance issue as R.M has justified, which I know is not the case.

I had seen the good and bad times of this company, seen the transition of this company from 2500 to 4500+ across the country. I was there in the initial stage of the company to contribute and set-up office and manpower for different verticals.

Its really hard to digest that now when the company has established its resources and offices, they don't need me.

I am feeling depressed and demotivated these days.

This company is known in the market for its culture and code of conduct, then why I am, being in HR, told to resign with backdated effect?

I dont have a job in hand and have not yet resigned now.

Request your feedback on the same.

Really sorry about your situation.
Keep moving on life, move out of the organisation, however big or reputed they may be.
You recollect the saying, when God closes one door, the other would open. In your case, I pray, it should already be open.
With best wishes,
A V Ramanan:)

Hi Ramanan,
Everybody in my family is telling me to take it in a positive stride, however deep-down in my heart I am feeling the pinch.
Its only prayers now by all you good people will help me to come out of this.
