I have working a ltd company in pune. Whereas 15 persons working in Corporation area and 30 persons working in outside area. Can coverage our factory under ESI Act? Please reply: Regards Amar Patil

Hi,
Since you have more than 30 employees, so your has to be registered Under ESI Act.
You can take the exemption only if there is no ESI despensary within a area of 3 KM.
To take the exemption, you need to apply and give the letter to the ESI authority.

What do you mean by Corporation Area?? You mean Pune Corporation?
Is it a factory or establishment?
You mean to say notified area and area not notified under the Act?
ESI Dispensary within three kms??
Is the law amended to this effect?
