Recently we have changed or poicy to Yearly Appraisal which was earlier Half yearly, I just want to hear from you all on what is the general hike given in the salary on yearly basis, you can even help out in hirearchy wise, (Trainee, Juniors, Software Engineers, Seniors, Team Leads, Managers).
Generallyh what is the percentage of Yearly hike in the mid sized software company.
Pls don't give me a reply saying it depends on Companies financial position & policies.

The normal rate of hike is 30-40%. In case of consistent performer it is around 50%. In case of exceptional performer it could even exceed 50%.
However, such hike could be given only after proper "Performance evaluation". That itself will speak volumes about who is eligible for how much hike.
