I would like to share an important update regarding the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
As you are aware, candidates have not been receiving DBT payments since September 2024. We have been persistently following up with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) regarding this delay.
Initially, DBT payments were expected to be credited to candidates in November. However, no payments were processed by the Ministry during that time. Subsequently, NSDC has requested companies to release the DBT component to the candidates from their end. Given the current circumstances, some companies have opted to release the DBT component from their own funds to retain trained resources.
Employees and Union are requesting to credit the DBT amount directly to the employee account from the employer side.
