there is a case in our organization where an employee is always late and absenteesm is higher so we are planning to start a programme

so i want to know
1- what are the improvement programmes in an organization
2- where the attendance improvement programme falls
Please share case studies related to it for reference

Please call that employee and find out the root cause for habitual late and absenteeism. He may have family issues or might be spending more time in travel. So find out it first. Then explain the importance of punctuality how it help to kick start the work. If it is team work how his late affect other members etc.

You may introduce some early bird award with some criteria's to motivate employees.

If need be introduce leave / salary cut beyond every 2 occasions of late reporting to office. But keep it as least option.
