The relieving from service is as per the contract of service and the organisational rules and regulations, there is no specific statute attached to it. The terminal benefits like last salary, payment of leave salary, gratuity and bonus are linked with the respective statutes provided you are covered therein. Please give your nature of operation, employee strength and the status of the employee concerned (workmen/supervisor/ executive category) for further opinion.
