Is there any reservation policy for hometown candidates.
Eg. One central government office (Autonomous body) is located in one village, from that village candidates is applied various posts to that office as per their eligibility (Qualification and Experience) - is Matched.
Now, they are claiming the reservation for hometown candidates as requested.
In view of above, it can be considerable or any rules are there? Kindly let me know.

Hi, There is no such policy of reservation as of now. If it is there than it is governed by state government where in H.P it was made mandatory by state govt. that every employer is supposed to keep 70% people from Himachal in there company in order to given employment in there state.

Why are you not recruiting locals matching the qualification and skill for vacant post and why do you prefer an outsider to that post?
As such there is hardly any reservation quota. But every state Govt. has got guidelines for all the employers, to give first preference to locals matching the requisite qualification & experience for vacant posts. The employers mostly not prefers local candidates for having certain mindset.
As to your apprehension you can modify the terms of appointment and locals should be given top priority to stop unrest.
