It's possible some offices insist for submission of all originals, including the death certificate. There is no other go if the insurance, Full & Final settlement purpose such originals are insisted upon and for proper compliance. Moreover it's not difficult to obtain more No.of DC from the local/municipal authorities to apply and obtain more No.of original certificates if prescribed fees are remitted as stipulated. Some offices might insist for translated English version duly Notarised DC (if the local authorities used to issue DC in vernacular like Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Hindi etc.). Therefore it would fasten claim settlement if the DC is issued in English.
