Whether EPF establishment code shall be obtained seperately for different branches or there should be only one Code under which all employees should be covered?

No seperate code is required for branches, you can have one establishment code wherein you can enroll all employees of all the branches throughout

Mr. Saji, Thanks for for your kind reply. But my doubt is whether is it compulsory that an establishment shouldnot have more than one establishment code, for different branches and pay pf of the employees seperately?

Dear Naren, If you have branches but your payroll and most of statutory norms been handled by your centralised office (Head Office) then, you may need not take different codes for different branches.

Getting different establishment code for branches will help you in anyway, you have to file PF Challans seperately every month same with returns and any other formalities required. It would be cumbersome job to the best of my belief, but there are ways and means to create different establishment code if required but not wise.

Centralized operations to be with a single registration and code unless you see advantages due to splitting and avoiding registration.
