Please I need your help, as human resource manager, you have found out that your boss is cheating on his wife and she happened to be her sister. What would you do?

You cannot act based upon hearsay or rumours. Have you caught them together in the office premises in a compromising position. If yes, you can act. If not, what is the evidence you have. Seeing them together does not mean anythng because, your cultural upbringing could be different from that of your boss and you cannot impose your values and culture on him.

In case the wife or her sister have a concern, they will act on their own, if they believe their life is affected. If the wife decides to act to either protect the marriage or dissolve the marriage, its her prerogative. If she files for divorce, even then, you cannot act, because it's their right and in their private space. If the sister of the wife decides to file a police omplaint against him for cheating her, then you have to wait for the police to act and the court to give a judgement convicting him. Only then you can act. If he is acquitted, you cannot act.

Mostly, in such cases, the family intervenes and they sort it out amongst themselves. Organisations must not and will not intervene on personal moral issues. There are lots of men and women who are engaged in live in relationships, though many consider it unethical and illegal. Organisations do not bother, because its not their business. Legally, they do not have any right to act on personal matters because the employee concerned has only offered his professional skills and competence to the organisation. He has not offered his personal life to be interfered with.

So, I would suggest not to lose your sleep on what others do in their petsonal space. Its not the concern of the organisation.
