Dear Sir, We are conducting interview for post of Accountant. At the time of interview we are asking last drawn salary. The candidate told Rs.25,000 p.m.Then we had finalized and fixed salary is Rs.30,000 P.M.In the mean time we are asking salary proof. In below the candidate giving calculation for salary proof. Monthly salary Rs.20,538 Employee share Rs. 1755 Employer share Rs .537 -------------------- Rs.22,838 --------------------- The candidate include pension contribution Rs.1218 , and total monthly salary is Rs.24,048 . As per my assumption ,I am told your last drawn salary was Rs.22,838. But candidate argument is Pension contribution is included in my salary account ,so my last drawn salary was Rs.24,048. Please clarify my doubts.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Gopinath,
To avoid all these discrepancies, always go for hard copy proof. You should have asked him for his payslips before you roll out the offer. You can also ask for bank statements, which many companies have stopped though.
