In the 7 years how have you kept up with changing technology and skills?
I understand and sympathise that you had to attend to your father which yo did as dutiful son.
If you have kept up with latest technology in your field then you could answer that though there is a gap,I kept abreast of my knowledge by doing--------.
It is difficult but you can try to convince employers of skill level and highlight your other good qualities which will attract an employer.
All the best

As Nathrao said, in IT, skills matter first. The employers see whether you have the necessary skills to deliver goods to them. Have you not worked any where intermittently even? No matter. If you updated your skills, it shall fetch you a job.

Thank you very much NATHRAO.
As of now I learned new technologies.
I have good knowledge on those technologies.
But I failed to convince them what was happened in my career.
anyhow this is the genuine reason know.
I don't know how do I get a job without crossing that question.I have to do job for my family.
everybody asking that same question.Ohhhh this much gap!!!!!.
why they don't understand .I have good knowledge on present technologies.I have that much ability to do a job.
which answer I have to tell them.

Hi, I think that is absolutely okay. You can always say that you attended to family duties and hence could not pursue an office based role for 7 years. The employer should see what you are capable of doing and make an offer. All the best.

Stress on your skills.
Offer to demonstrate your skills practically.
Even carry with you a programme which you have never developed.
I am sure some smart employer will see beyond the gap and at your skills.
Best of luck.
