hello, i joined in one company, now 6months completed but still i did not received any offer letter, conformation letter,now i left that company but that company hr saying that i have to give notice period actually my salary generation this december 21st to 20 th january but i left my company on 17th jan only 4 days to get my salary.
now my question is really should i pay anything ? why should i pay i did not know company rules bcz i did not received any offer letter please confirm me

At outset, for every kind of employment, there needs to be a agreement. Agreement in the form of appointment letter or a contract of employment. This basically puts forth all the necessary terms and conditions of employment. This serves a base for any unforeseen issues like yours.
You should have demanded signing one sooner or later but in the beginning of your employment with them. Do you have written communications with them regarding offering you a job? your salary offer? keep a copy of all your communications with them month on month ready (may be send it to your personal id) just to serve as a proof incase if this matter goes far ahead and you are not given access to your email id then atleast you will have some proof with you.
Did you not sign any agreement with them at all? Do you have sort of written communication from them towards your salary or employment or notice period for that matter? I would strongly suggest before you get into loggerheads with them, you better first receive your monthly salary, what is tomorrow they put your FNF on hold. For how long are they asking you to serve notice period?
You go talk to the senior management regarding no intimation on notice period to be served. Explain them politely and come to mutual agreement on how many days notice period you can serve or complete as much tasks as possible that are important.
It wouldn't be great if you leave on bitter note or not receive your FNF. It is better to come to mutual agreement on this in first instance.

No need to pay If you employer did not inform you about notice period during taking up of employment and there is no discussion between you and employer about the same than no need to serve the notice period.

I do not understand how people are taking up jobs without an offer or an appointment letter in writing in the first place. Since you have worked for less than a month complete the month take your salary and leave. If there is nothing in writing between you and your employer just abandon the service and if one month's service is not added to your experience it is not going to make any difference!
