dear sir..i am working as an AREA BUSINESS MANAGER in a pharma company. joined this company on 2 dec 2013, confirmed employee. I was on medical leave from 6 july 2015 to 3 august 2015 due to backbone injury. Given proper medical certificates and availed leave. Joined back on 4 august 2015 and worked for one week. On 10 august in a meeting I was asked to submit my resignation and reason assigned is none of my medical reps wants to work with me as as I cannot do the feild work individually, so i should resign. My july expense and whatever salary, they are holding and my seniors have it (Bank DD of my salary). they are asking me to give one month notice and then they will give my salary. I have written all this to HR of my company but he is not responding on mail, but instead calling me via telephonically and asking me to do the same.

please can you advice me analysing my situation as i am searching for new company and i havn't submitted my notice of resignation. Any legal option or anything so that i can get my job as well as salary?

You are a manager
So you are not covered by most of the labour laws.
If your subordinate team does not work with you, and the top management does not support you, you have no reason to exist in that company.
It's very clear. If you can't do field work, what role do,you have as area manager on Pharma. If the subordinate team could work in their own, what is the need for you anyway. You are expected to visit clients in all areas of the district along with the sales team. I am sure you knew this. How do you expect the company to keep you if you are no longer capable of fulfilling the basic requirement of your work.
At least they are giving you the option to resign. If they chose, they could simply wait for a month for you to rejoin and then terminate you. Being a manager you can do nothing and you would have a termination letter that will make it very difficult to work elsewhere.

Don't give up. People will say expensive and so on. Companies have used this belief to play games with careers.
It's not cheap for sure. But if you win companies have to reimburse all your costs plus pay for whatever transgressions the did.
